Good morning!
AMPS 202 shooting .5u

Boomer ate almost all of his overnight fuds!

Allen ate very well last night and had 3 poops (missed the lb once). He hasn't been feeling well lately, he seems weak and tired. But he did come up on the couch for a brushing last night and sat on my legs for a few minutes and has been purring.

Today I have a bunch of chores to do....I had a day yesterday when nothing seemed to work out the way I planned so now I have to play catch-up. Dh has gone golfing. Our heatwave (and excessive humidity) broke yesterday so finally our windows and doors are open again which makes Boomer a happy boy.

I really need to get some editing done; I'm running out of images to post lol. Today's image is another of the cooperative Blue Heron from a few weeks ago!

Yay, Boomer! Now work that juice, too!

Vines and prayers for sweet Allen. I know that HC food is most likely counter-productive for Allen, but maybe it's worth giving it a shot???

Yes, exactly what we're doing now. We had been told (or I read somewhere) that higher carb food would only force the Insulinoma to drop more insulin into him. But I'm hoping that allowing him to graze on higher carb food day and night will keep the BG up a bit.

Lagoon today, Deputy Boomer?

Great photo of the Great Blue. The other night at camp we heard a really weird bird sound. Today I heard on "Bird Note"--a little 5-minute daily program on National Public Radio--that it might have been a Screech Owl. Then I confirmed it by looking it up in my iBird Plus app (which has great audio clips).

Cool on the screech owl!
Time will tell re the lagoon....+3 is in 30 minutes. The Bean is not liking these high numbers at all!
