Good morning, everyone,

Rusty slept well all night, but did have a coughing episode early this morning (got up some gunk). The Allerplex is really working: these coughings are fewer and further between since we started the "lung treat" again.
It is very cold this morning (-15 here, -20 at Paul Smiths, where our ski is today). The beans are reluctantly going to stay home. If my hamstring injury wasn't a consideration, I would go . . . But it is slowly getting better and I'm thinking of future skis/snowshoes/climbs and don't want to compromise my recovery. So I'll stay home, ride my bike on the wind trainer, row on the rowing machine, and listen to Anita O'Day for my work-out music today.

Rusty has come over for his schmooze, so we'll be back later, wishing all a good day,

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

YAY! A great BG for Rusty. It is good to read that rusty is back to accepting his lung treat, and that the Allerplex is going its thing. :cool::)

Wow on those temps! probably a good decision not to make that ski today, in the interests of recovery and being better for future outings. Sorry that you have to miss it. Your workout today though sounds great!@ Enjoy!

have a good one stay, and stay warm! we are in the 30's today, cool for us....

Well, it turned out to be the best outdoor day of the winter, so far! I regret that I didn't give it a try on snowshoes (skiing was out from the start), but I do want to get completely healed.

Rusty came down nicely by +9, so we'll see what happens next. I'm keeping options open with regard to a dosecrease. He enjoyed his lung treat. This is great!

Tonight our "film society" is having it's first meeting of the year, here in our living room. This year we will be watching all of the films of Werner Herzog, beginning with "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" (1972). Rusty is getting ready by occupying one of the best chairs.

Isn't it odd how their tastes go in cycles, sort of. Icky lung treat.....oh, wonderful lung treat. Fickle, fickle. Cats.

Have a good meeting. Rusty, play director...keep them on task.

Probably better to say "wish I'd gone" vs. "I shouldn't have gone". :rolleyes: Glad to hear Rusty is back to liking his lung treat and it's helping his breathing. Hope he finds the lagoon again soon. Yikes, that's cold. Stay warm!

What a great cycle for Rusty- glad to hear he's taking the lung treats! I am sorry you had to miss skiing and I hope that your hamstring heals up, that's so painful! I had to laugh at Rusty taking the best chair in the house - Go Get 'em Rusty! :joyful::joyful:

Glad to see Rusty made it to the lagoon. I always feel better about Cinco's visits there when I know Rusty is on duty.

Yay for the success of the lung treat. I didn't see any results from Allerplex with my girls, but I'm glad it helps Rusty.

Good call on staying home. It is never a good idea to do too much too soon, no matter how tempting. Sending healing vines so you'll be ready for the next "best outdoor day"!
