Guess we got a double dip, boy was yellow around +9.

When the kitty drops (mostly nadir) and rises and then drops again. So like if nadir was +7 and 110 bg, then +10 is 146 but your pre shot is 120, that'd be a double dip. Ok. Now wait M, cause someone is sure to come and explain it correctly!

Lantus is known to have a double dip sometimes, it doesn't always happen, but you can see several examples in Asia's SS. It's exactly what Heidi said, your low is the nadir and then back up and then a second drop (that isn't as low as nadir). You won't often catch them unless you test later in the cycle. It's one of the reasons +10s can be so useful, comparing the +10 to the preshot number can tell you if they are on their way up or on their way down when you shoot.
