WCR: Half of the Ps in place. Pees and poops were fine yesterday. I've noticed lately that her urine output is up. Where she had 3-4 pee piles per day, she is up to 5-6 pee piles per day. I'd have to go back to this time last year and the year before, but I recall writing this before...seasonal issues? CKD issues? I don't know. What I do know is that my vet was very kind and wrote us the prescription for Ondansetron! :woot: :woot: I decided to check with Publix first to see what their prices would be...$13 for 20 tablets. SOLD! Yesterday, I didn't have time to run all over price checking, but decided that was horrible. Her appy isn't all that great today. Here's to hoping it gets better throughout the day.

Unfortunately, I have a faculty meeting this morning so I have to race out of here. My school was chosen to be evaluated/re-evaluated for accreditation this year. Emergency faculty meeting. UGH! :arghh: Then I have a Feeder Chain concert with my Vocal Ensemble and my Men's ensemble. It's just going to be one of those days. Hope everyone has a nice Wednesday.

@Anne & Zener GA (Liz) - thank you for your offer. Luckily, we now how our own script!!! :joyful: Shasta sends kisses!

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

She could be peeing more if she's drinking more. I know my allergies make my mouth dry and I drink a lot more. I'm glad the vet gave you the Ondansetron. I hope Shasta's appy gets better today. :bighug:

Great about the Onda - I hope it helps her tons! At this point I give Trix cerenia proactively to stay ahead of nausea, because it's so hard to catch up once they feel like crap. I think it has help her tremendously. That's a great price, too! When Trix had p-titis a couple years ago, when I got Onda from my local pharmacy they charged me $7 per pill!!!! Insane.

Have a great day, Deborah!

So glad you can get the ondansetron. Max is peeing that much too and drinking a lot. For him I'm certain it's kidney but Shasta had good kidney numbers with your last labs. Of course that could have changed but I'm thinking hers is due to the higher BG.
