I know the SS isn't up to date. I'll try to get that done later. I'm having an awful time with my eyes/vision.
Re the recent flea? invasion: I applied Front line to Tulip and any of the outside colony that I can touch, vacuumed, laundered, spread DE everywhere, gave Eleanor a bath (which she didn't seem to mind!), slathered myself in coconut oil (someone said it is a good flea repellent). I haven't had any more bug bites and Tulip is no longer itching. Fingers crossed.
Eleanor's BG went waaaaay too high again. I was trying to keep her between 150-250. She's coming back down now though, bounced from a 142, then 183 last cycle, hopefully I can get her back on track.
Further complicating things though is I have been in and out of the hospital this month. I have 3 people who come in to care for Eleanor when I'm not here but I do not trust any of them to properly stay with her if she should drop really low. I had planned to start shooting low and figured if not sleeping finishes me off then so be it, I am so stressed with the high numbers and that impacts my health too.
But now, I don't want to have her dropping and me not be here. Something else to try to figure out I guess.
Eleanor is having a terrible bout with liquid poo. I suspected bacteria, vet did a fecal smear and yep, bacteria as well as protozoa. Being treated.
So all in all. We are the same as usual here!!
