Good morning all,
Lou didn't have as much BG activity last night as I would have liked. I think we'll end up needing to up him to 3.5u since we still haven't even seen blue. I'm hoping we'll see some more action, but I won't hold my breath. He was having a blast playing this morning, chucking his toy up into the air and falling onto the ground to catch it. Ridiculously cute. :cat:

I haven't checked on the pee/LB situation yet this morning, but I hope he's still using the new one. Wendy brought up a good point about possible arthritis yesterday causing LB issues. I'm also wondering about the possibility of neuropathy; however, I would have thought it would have taken more time to manifest.

Today is going to be a day full of football I think. One of our local universities is in the National Championship for the however-manyith time. Good for them, but it gets old hearing about it, haha. I'm not a huge fan of college football, but I reckon Caleb will want to watch the game. They're in Frisco, Texas today. Then Caleb's NFL team is playing this afternoon, so I imagine we'll watch that too. I suppose there's worse ways to spend the day. I hope you all have a wonderful day and your kitties surf safely! Sending a bunch of extra vines to Mr. Jones today (@Tracey&Jones).

Lou, it's time to work the juice! That is wonderful that he is having fun and playing. Love it!

I hope you start seeing some movement in Lou's numbers, and that the LB situation is resolved soon.

I love it when the kitties are playful like that, especially when it happens in the morning and not while I'm still trying to sleep and the dog is whining because the cat is running around playing with a toy.

I'm glad to hear Lou is playing - it sounds like he was having a high ole time! Luci was feeling her oats today too! She arched her back up and ran like her tail (yes, her stump tail) was on fire...back and forth...finally exhausted she laid on the sofa in the office an passed out...she's had a big day in the lagoon. Tell Lou we hope to see him there soon :)

Nice! I keep trying to tell him that everyone is having parties without him, but apparently he's either not interested or just cannot break through enough to join everyone. Unfortunately, it's obvious he's going to need yet another increase. I think at this rate, with his numbers only decreasing in such small amounts, he'll be at 4.0u before we see greens. This kid.

On the plus side! He's using the new LB, which is great. The only downside is it's low-walled and tiny so I feel like I need to clean it multiple times per day. We'll look at some low-walled, bigger LBs and see if that's a long-term solution.

Sounds like the story of our lives here too...Luci usually misses out on 80% of all the fun...but she's in it thick tonight...I swear I don't know what's worse - worrying about her when she's too high or sitting here on the edge of my nerves when she's so low - I KNOW that's what we'll have to do if she ever decides to go OTJ...I don't know how everyone has the 'b@lls' for it...I'm terrified:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:...but I know that's what we have to do to walk her down the ladder...I just wish we could get down there and stay down...she likes to take me around the park a time or two, then dumps me back at the 'yellow' curb - if you know what I mean...:banghead:

Have you thought about looking at the plastic storage bins? There are some pretty nice sturdy ones that fit under a bed - just something to consider. I've often thought that standard litter boxes were inappropriately sized for some 'occasions'...and bigger cats need bigger LB's - almost like a kiddie pool...:p
