Last night I was going to do one more test after the 63 but I just couldn't poke him again. So I gave him some 9% when it was close to +6 and went to bed. Max was under the bed but once I settled in he got out and on top of the bed. I didn't fall asleep right away but still couldn't poke him again. All is well this morning except that I again had to get him from under the bed for his insulin. He didn't come in to give me head butts while I was measuring his insulin. He's back under the bed. Hopefully he is feeling okay.

Prayers and vines to all kitties and beans in need with the usual extra for Amy's DF and Tricia's kitties with appy vines her way as well. Happy hump day!
 
Thanks Carla. He came out and has been sleeping on the bed. He wasn't so hungry so I had a feeling he might surf blue which he is.
 
Nice blue surf Max..and a bit o green I see there! Hope he continues with those great numbers hes been having lately. I need to go look at his ss, as I dont remember now if he just got another reduction recently..but if he did, it looks like hes holding it well. I hope your mom is doing ok too.
 
Hi Laura. Yes Max earned reductions on 1/3 and 1/5 but only .15mm each time so they have been very tiny. He's gone under 50 twice on this dose so I was thinking he might earn another but I'm not sure what he plans to do.
 
Hmmm looking at that +2, could be an exciting night for you! :woot: I hope he is feeling better than this morning, and I hope your mom is doing okay!
 
Hi Ruth. Thanks. Max is acting very odd these days. He went under the bed after he ate tonight again and I had to drag him out to inject. He ate well though. He stayed there a couple of hours but was on my bed when I went to get him for the last test. He ate all his food and is lying by the dish waiting for more so I do think he might be dropping more. I'll test at 3.5 and should know more.

My mom is hanging in there but didn't sound too good tonight. I hopefully just caught her at a down time because my sister hasn't called to say anything is wrong.

I hope all is well with you, your husband and Tiger. Did I miss your condo today?
 
Oh no, I am so sorry about Max and your mom!! :bighug: I am glad to hear Max is eating well though, but I can see why you worry when he hides under the bed. Sending prayers for both your mom and Max. We are in the middle of a Tiger bounce here, nothing new there.

Sure wish they could talk to us! Wonder if there's an extra cozy warm spot under the bed that you don't know about? China found a vent that had been covered over years ago before we moved in. We found it when we replaced the carpet a few years ago and finally knew why she liked that special spot so much!

Hope things are OK with your mom. Guess tonight is a "worry about mom" night....mine was sounding pretty short of breath when I called her tonight so I sure hope she sounds better tomorrow. She says she feels fine, but when I can hear her gasping for air over the phone, it sets off my alarm bells.
