Dunno where my meter is, so I'm using my spare. the blanks were all blues and yellows - might have been one low pink. I sometimes wait a while before entering data - not a good idea I see.

TiTI seems very happy, but she was either 29 or 39 at +5 today. I tested again after seeing that 39, and she slid down 10 more to 29.
I'm delaying shot time to 8:30pm. I fail to understand why she's going so low.

She's been green since yesterday @PMPS.

Should I shoot 7.5 or 7?

It was 2 readings 1 minute apart at most. The 39BG was so low, I retested immediately, and then I got a 29BG
I don't know which is accurate. But yea, erring on the side of caution seems best. Thanks for getting back to me.

She's back up to 158, fortunately.

even if you split the difference, you still get a 34....for a long term diabetic, anything under 40 is a reducie!!

Now Titi.....back away from the trampoline!! You're not supposed to bounce in the house anyway!!
228 at PMPS. I'm figuring she's bouncing. Frankly, she scared me this time. Thank you for the support.

3 days ago, I started a new lantus vial...wondering.

How does r insulin work? I've never used it.
It is an in-and-out insulin, can be bought OTC at Walmart. Just a little can go a long way though, never should be done without help from some of the experts on here to guide you at first. When Bronx was stuck in high numbers without even a yellow in site, I started using it since Lantus/Lev needs a lower # to "grab onto". Titi has shown she can go low on Lantus alone, but R is nice to control the bad bounces. But using it too much can cause a kitty to drop too low which just results in another bounce. Some cats react to even a small amount of R, even high dose kitties like ours.
