I hate when that happens. I hit a bad spot with Trix's fluids one day last week and she both yelled and bit at me. I felt awful. Nice start, though...hopefully he'll give you a lovely surf!
 
Happens to me sometimes too. More like kitty flinches because of where I shoot. Not sure what causes it since I rotate the same places over and over and it's only rarely that she reacts. I do notice that often when I take the needle out after, it's bent. Perhaps it bends when inserting so it hurts? I dunno. It's strange.

At least it doesn't look like it has effected his numbers at all though!
 
I suspect we've all hit an ouchie spot. Polly just quickly jerks away when I've done that. Makes me feel quilty! (and wondering about how much juice she got)
