Thanks everyone for helping cheer Furball on. She would not be OTJ if it wasn’t for this place. I have no doubt Furball would not still be with me if I hadn’t found this board. Furball was diagnosed with diabetes in February 2012. We started insulin in March 2012. My vet started her on 2 units, which was too much to start with. My vet was also giving me dosing advice based on her PS number instead of her nadir, which someone here pointed out to me (I believe it was Sienne). The advice and support of the wonderful people here helped me get Furball on track.

After the first year, I still had hope she could go OTJ. By the end of the second year, I figured she didn’t have a chance to go OTJ and was just trying to get her regulated. I’m so excited to see her go OTJ and see her feeling so good. Thank you to everyone here who has offered advice and support. We couldn’t have done it without you.

I plan to still be around. I don’t know if I’ll post a daily condo, but I’ll probably at least update weekly.
