Good morning,
AMPS 356 :eek::eek::eek: shooting 2.75u
High before the low? Time will tell.

Boomer ate some of his +6 last night but left his +9.

Yesterday morning I got out for a walk and we also went for what I refer to as a Snowy Owl hunt. No luck finding them; I know they've been seen in Ontario but I'm not sure whether they've been spotted in my area yet. Anyways, it wasn't a complete waste of time; I did photograph my first American Kestrel. Not edited yet :)

It snowed last night; not much but just enough to make the trees pretty so I'm hoping to head out this morning. Also hoping to see the Buffleheads on Saunders Pond....they were there yesterday morning but too far away for photos.

Today's photo is from my photo session with the 2 Red-Tailed Hawks about a month ago!

I hope Boomer slides down for you. I saw in your remarks that last night might have been a short shot.

Really nice photo of the hawks. We have a red tail hawk that has made a nest in one of the trees in back of our house. We use to have a lot of bunnies.......
Thanks Bobbie! Yeah, much as I would have liked some "action" shots of the hawks, I wouldn't have been too happy if the action had included a bunny:(

What's with our Kitties today! Ravan gave me a 298 this morning.(I hope it's not a failed reduction. ) Come on Boomer you guys gotta give us some green!:D
The Red Tailed Hawks are my Favorite :) I love the Photo.

Have a wonderful day :bighug:

What is up with those numbers, Boomer? Are your green and your blue suit both at the cleaner's? Judy, I really hope that he will start to slide down for you.

And I LOVE the picture. We see hawks quite a bit on our hikes - but all of my picture attempts consist of blurry black dots in the sky. ;)

Judy, we live on edge of our small town and back up to an open field and then trees . We always have cardinals, juncos, black cap chickadees, nuthatches , downy and flicker wood peckers. Occasionally a bald eagle will buzz our pond which always is awesome . We also have year round blue bird population which I work feverishly to provide food for . We love our wild life and I so enjoy all your shots. Nature is the best :bighug: Just so enjoy all u capture with your lens . Thanks so much for sharing with all of us ❤️

Also lots of Red Tail , Coopers and Sharp Shin hawks and an owl who sits on top of our chimney at night booting away and making the cats crazy :woot:
I wish I could see an owl lol! There's been a Great Horned Owl spotted in one of the parks I frequent but I'll never find him.

Thanks Beth! Yes, I get those birds in my backyard as well....Flickers not very often but a flicker was actually one of the first birds I photographed in my backyard. Blue birds are my nemesis......I've photographed one once (not a good shot) and seen one another time on a wire. But that's it. Oh....I guess I don't get Eagles in my backyard  although there is an occasional hawk.

Thanks Christina! Usually mine are too! But these two showed up at the pond that I normally go to and they were only a few feet away from me....and they stayed for about half an hour! It was awesome!:woot::woot:

Hi Judy,
I love your photos and look forward to seeing them every day. I hope you get to see the Snowy Owls. Apparently one of the places where they congregate at this time of year is near Malone, NY. That's about 50 miles northwest of here, not far from Cornwell. Sometime I hope to get there to see them.

We have 5 inches of wet snow. Winter appears to be here.

Bring it down Deputy Boomer. You're needed in the lagoon!

Thanks Ella! I haven't had any luck finding Snowys for the past 2 years; hopefully this year will be different.
