As I count, the 4th cycle completed this am. Waiting for bouncing to stop. I am motion sick! 2 more to go to see some settling down apparently.

She has taken to making the carpet her litter pan since it spiked. Or going in the box and totally overshooting.
 
Mocha, Mocha, Mocha. Come on down. Smokey will go out of LB when he is extremely high. I think it's a way to let us know they don't feel well. But my parents never caught on to it. I've ripped up most of the carpeting in their house. Now with me he will go on a puppy pad. Thank goodness it's very rare happening now.
 
Wow - Mocha please come down - black kitties are cool but black BG numbers are not. Come join Ms Lucky she also bounces hard but is having a good day today.

I have the puppy pads also and was putting them under the pan and it overlapped slightly in front and I think she liked the cottony feel. She was going thru them so fast I took them up. I do thankfully have a cut piece of plastic under the litter boxes and behind. But, does not help when she goes at the bottom of the steps. Yes, indeed it was some better when her numbers improved. Seems to be associated with stress, and wanting more food again in excess because of high numbers.
 
the bounce continues.......see what happens tomorrow. :(:arghh: She moved several times when trying to shoot. Only got partial, at best. I am not looking forward to tomorrow's numbers!

Sorry about the fur shot. It happens. She'll get back on track. Don't be too hard on yourself. I once did three fur shots in a row. That was frustrating.

Late getting to Mocha's condo today, but wanted to pop in. The bounces are frustrating. It's easy for me to say this now, but try to not let Mocha's numbers dictate how you feel. That emotional rollercoaster is no fun.

With her pee incidents, is there any possibility that Mocha's got an infection? I apologize if this has been asked and addressed before. How about her teeth? We're pretty sure my guy Eddie fell out of remission either due to a low grade UTI or a dental infection. Eddie underwent a dental last February and had at least four (I forgot how many now) extractions. I'm pretty positive he needs more dental work, too. Bad mouths and FD seem to go hand in hand.

You've probably read that bounces can be caused not only by low numbers, but also by steep drops. I suspect that may be why you're seeing the blacks. A drop from the 500's into the 200's is a pretty big drop ,which can set off the next bounce. I do wonder though, if Mocha might be sneaking some lower numbers (blues?) in earlier in the cycle. She's shown the ability to clear from the 400's down to the low 100's in a single cycle. Even on "pokie break" cycles, it might be interesting to see a +2, to see if she's coming down - and if so, grabbing one or two more tests to see how low she's actually getting.
