Ok I think I'm getting over the anxiety of Ivana's recent higher numbers, although I wish I knew what caused them. No matter, at least it doesn't seem to be permanent!
In other news, our chicken Brandy (who was sick a few months ago with egg yolk peritonitis) has been very unwell again in the last couple of days. As well as the EYP symptoms returning again, she also suddenly went blind sometime between yesterday and the day before. Poor lil girl. She has a vet appointment this afternoon to see what the prognosis is. It's entirely possible that she won't be coming home with us if the rest of her life is just going to be periods of weakness in-between periods of illness :-( Fingers crossed for her, she is such a sweetie and we don't want her suffering if we can do something for her. (I took a photo of her but it hasn't uploaded from my phone so I'll add it later.)
