Good morning,
Me yesterday " I honestly don't know whether I should be increasing him or not". Boomer last night "No mommy I don't need no stinkin' increase".

AMPS 167 shooting 2.75u. He didn't quite earn a reducie last night (just one point away).

Despite the extra food (in the form of higher carb ff) he received a couple of times last night, he did eat most of his +9 food. He came to bed with me at 1:30 and he was snuggled up against me at 6:30 when I woke up :bighug::cat:

Yesterday's cake smash was a bust. The child wanted nothing to do with the cake and only wanted to be held by mommy. So, since yesterday morning my family session for today got postponed, I invited them back for another try at it this afternoon. So that's happening at 1:00. Afterwards, I would love to get out for a walk.

Yes Boomer, you were abundantly clear about that. Now, could you please just do a nice leisurely cruise through the blues into the dark greens today.

That is the best!

I invited them back for another try at it this afternoon.
Good luck!

It's +2 and Boomer just wandered into the living room where DH and I were having breakfast. Very strange for him to be up and about; usually he sleeps on the desk in the spare bedroom right up to +3. And our breakfast was muffins so it wasn't as if the smell of bacon brought him out lol. I started to wonder whether he was trying to tell me something so I tested. +2 158. Pretty even with AMPS and exactly where he should be at +2. idk but I think he's gone back to bed now:rolleyes:

ETA: I was wrong, he didn't go back to bed, he's laying on his testing table.o_O

Good to see Boomer got back to Green! :)

Hope you can get out for a relaxing Walk. We're expecting a Lot of snow tonight & tomorrow. Anywhere from 5 to 8 inches! I got my snow blower ready :arghh::arghh::arghh:

The little girl didn't seem to like the feel of the icing.
Who doesn't like icing?!?

A friend's daughter just celebrated her first birthday and she was totally into her cake and getting it all over herself... and here's my rather terrible picture of her.

How many cakes do you need to get through a cake smash? Who bakes them?? The little girl must be very fastidious. Maybe she'd prefer a teddy bear.
Just one! Sometimes the mom bakes it, our grocery stores carry small smash cakes, or if they want a special one there's lots of small businesses that make them (but they're like $60). This girl did not like the feel of it, that's for sure.
And now I have one coming on Tuesday for a cake smash and she doesn't like icing but "will sometimes eat the cake". I suggested we do some other type of smash session but nooooo Mom wants a cake smash. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
