AMPS 211 shooting 2.75u
He is coming down from the bounce. Unless he sees green today, I will increase him tomorrow.

Boomer left half of his +6 and most of his +9 last night. I need to give him less +3 food.

Today on the agenda: cake smash session at 2:00 (+7). The little girl apparently does not like sweets but mom/dad are insisting we have a cake smash session so idk but it might be yet another frustrating unsuccessful session. Up until this past weekend cake smash sessions were my favourite! The parents are obviously falling in love with images of past cake smash sessions and determined to have the same for their kids even when their kids don't like cake. sigh.

It rained all day yesterday and then changed to snow sometime in the evening. I think we're on the edge of an area covered by a snow squall watch or warning.
 
Glad the bounce is breaking.

Maybe the child just doesn't like being forced to smash a cake. If there was a nicely decorated one you didn't want them to touch, they would have it all over everything in no time.

Normally once the child realizes it's ok and it tastes good, they dig right in. But there has been the occasional child that doesn't like the icing on their hands. My one grandson was like that; he absolutely hated to have even a spot of anything on him.

Good luck with the cake smash! I can't believe these kids that won't go for it at least a little. My Mom has cake smash pictures of me and my brothers from our first birthdays....My oldest brother was fussy and didn't like anything on his hands, so he dove in with his face. My next oldest brother didn't want it on his face, so he picked at it with his hands. Yours truly did not mess around...I full on dove in to that awesome chocolate cake with face and hands :joyful: (I would have been your ideal client!)!!
