Good morning! It's warming up here but still a chilly, two quilt, three kitties, with Gussie up on my pillow kind of morning! :cat::cat::cat::) Very nice way to awaken!
AMBG 87:D
Another beautiful start to this morning, hoping the wind is calmer than the hard blow we had yesterday, and in the day for preparation for the heating/AC Unit install. It's made easier because I trust my repairman so didn't have to get lots of estimates etc. he is fair and honest, a local family run two generation business. If he runs into any problems he still honors his original bid and absorbs those costs..what he quoted is what you pay. They will have to use a crane, should be interesting but I will miss all the action being at work. :(I will be able to guesstimate tho by who I find hiding where on my return!:cat: Civvies Jett is positive he has the cloak of invisibility draped about him when he is under the covers. :cat: I judge how scared he was by the number of layers he chose to bury himself under:p
Sending Eat your Fuds vines out across LL :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: vetty vines , extras to @HWright as she is juggling exhausting and heart rending times right now:bighug::bighug:
Let's have a safe day kitties, easy on the Beans, they are mighty tired already, keeping you in safe waters..dance sweetly in step...:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Such a beautiful number! GOOD JOB GUSSIE!! :bighug::bighug::bighug: he knows how to dance!!

I wish I could say the same for our repairman for our apartment... Apparently they charged us 50 dollars for a "clog" in our shower (thank goodness Fluffy was in my room, otherwise who knows if the repairman would have heard him meow and reported it to our landlord! :blackeye:) Since we moved in three months ago, we have gotten these ridiculous clogs, and we are so sure it was because it was a problem not resolved from the last people living here. Frustrating... and the last two times they "unclogged" it, they never charged us, so this charge was such a surprise!

Today is also my long day at classes so I won't get out of class until about 7 pm :(

May you have a safe and happy day too!

Yikes! Can you buy a jug of whatever drain clearing gel they sell at Big Zlots or your local dollar store? I do that and run it regularly..these were apartments too and since they are old and all on one drain line ( I'm the lucky one down hill at the end of the line...:banghead:) they back up a lot. Shampoos, heir products, and conditioner and hair can clog old drains pretty fast and that liquid Plummer stuff does keep them running better... Might keep the repairman at bay and Fluffy out of hiding! SO happy he didn't give himself away!!
Bummer you had to pay..did they say what caused the clog?? if it's not caused by something you put down it you should not be responsible for clearing that drain btw
Hope you have a good day at class, you are going do great juggling the pieces of your busy life, especially doing the sugar dance with Fluffy! He is one lucky cat! YAY! One day closer to winter break!! :bighug::cat::bighug:

You know, some kitties just run higher naturally. Since no one ever bothered to check it regularly before he became diabetic, there's no way to know if this is normal for Gussie or not, but that would be my guess. As long as he brings the number down on his own, no cause for concern that I can see.
Bummer on the DOA HVAC. I hope you are at least getting one that is more energy efficient so you can save on heating and cooling bills!
I'm learning not to worry at those blues..but it's taking a bit O'time!
The really frustrating thing is rather than there even bring any rebates, now they are charging a fee because they changed the regs on the efficiency ratings and now the machines have not caught up with the ratings requirements ....very frustrating but it is what it is! The unit will be WAAY more energy efficient I am promised..for that I am grateful!

Good job, Gussie! You figured out how to avoid the extra poke! Maybe mama will give you that second treat, anyway, for hitting the lagoon right away. ;)

Your repairman sounds like a keeper. It is wonderful to have someone you trust for stuff like that. It's so easy to get scammed these days. I hope all goes well with the replacement and Jett has minimal layers on him!

Amazing job Gussie ! :bighug::cat::bighug:

Hope the job will go smoothly on your building, sad you can't see the job being done.
Couple of big shoulder guys at work must be nice show for you girls ? Different
from keyboard /mouse handlers :).

I've bought a huge jug of some draino stuff and it did NADA! Hahaha yes I know what you mean! My dad suggested I buy one of these skewer-like rods that are several feet long and can reach down the drain and pull the yuck out o_O So I'll have to do that eventually because I ain't payin' no mo' money for sketchy unclogging when we're not even responsible for that!!!

Thank you SO much :bighug::bighug::bighug: I even did a speech for class about my cat today, there's so much love to go around for our fur babies :p

YES winter break needs to come faster :arghh:

Ok had to post this because normally the interaction between these two involves hissing and spitting on Gussies part . Jett is still convinced he's my GA Buster, his protector and comfort as a kitten and can't figure out why he is so mean..
