AMPS=208

He ate a total of 6oz (FF) last cycle. One before I went to bed and I put another one down overnight (10p). I put 1/2 in one bowl near where he has been laying in the living room and 1/2 in a bowl in his feeder. I got up at 1a to check on him and the bowl in the living room was empty so I showed him the bowl in the feeder. Both were empty when I got up!

He actually woke me up letting me know that it was time for his morning attention so I fixed up two bowls for his feeder and when about the normal morning routine. He was acting extremely hungry so I gave him a FD rabbit kibble (afraid of stomach acid) which he ate.

I decided to test and feed a bit early (10 min) and allowed him plenty of time to eat before shot. He ate all of the first bowl (1/2 can) for breakfast.

I had decided last night that I was going to back off the nausea meds but ended up not giving the pain or Mirtz either and see how it goes. I really think that sticking stuff down his throat was turning him off to eating.

He didn't fight the test or the shot this morning either!

Hoping and praying that we may have turned a corner!

He is also on antibiotics so I am wondering if there was some infection that was making him feel bad, though you would think his number would have reflected that so IDK.

ETA- oh, and there were two nice, moist, well formed poo overnight. One in the LB and one just outside (not unusual for him).

Good news! I hope he continues to have a good appetite. Do you think the meds themselves are putting him off food, or the act of giving the meds?

Has already finished the first can and have prepared the 2nd in his feeder for his +4.5 and +7.5 snacks. I added MMR (and a teaspoon of AVJ) to his +4.5. I forgot to note that I had done the MMR (+1 teaspoon AVJ) to last nights 2nd can - so since that was well received I decided to do that again.

Been busy working on taxes and bills and, again, cleaning up the disaster of the house caused by this.

HE IS EATING!! HE IS EATING!! Out of his feeder and on schedule!! Please pray it holds. He ate 1/2 FF for his PS!

Going to try and switch him over to better food tomorrow.

Excellent! You may need the mirt again though. It's really effective. My Colette was on it for a full year, and it helped her stay with me for that precious, one more year.
 
Awesome news! So glad he is eating and starting to feel better. Sending continue to eat and feel better vines for Gizmo. You need to get some well needed and deserved rest this weekend! :bighug:
 
It is such a relief. I backed off the nausea and pain meds yesterday afternoon and went to MMR and Canna. It could be the flare was breaking any way, no way to know for sure. He is still fragile when laying down but nothing like earlier this week. And he is being obnoxious :cool:. He finished oth PS meal and the +2.5 completely, licked the bowls spotless :D
