I think my two boys are conspiring to kill their bean through sleep deprivation. Second night in a row with almost no sleep. Only difference: this time, BOTH of my boys managed to drop below 50.:arghh::mad: Walter did so early in the cycle (+2), while Mandarin waited until +8. Needless to say, I am exhausted. And so are the kits, I'm sure.

This time, I was generous with the gravy from the very beginning. So the truly scary thing is that Mandarin STILL dropped below 50 even though he had 4 helpings of HC food early in the cycle. I once again went with a BCS for Mandarin this morning... while his brother is back on the trampoline and got his full dose.

I will probably need some help with dosing for Mandarin later... I usually wait for three drops below 50 before I reduce, but I also can't handle another night like this. No clue how I will manage to grade papers today.

Yet even though I would prefer to do this without all the drama, I am super excited for Mandarin. :woot::woot:

Really boys, if you kill the bean no one will take care of you so please....a litter more considerate for a while. Walter cleared his bounce in style:rolleyes: However something has changed in Mandarin. I'd hate to see you take another reduction though. I might try the 1.75 again if you're up for it. Otherwise, take the reducie and see how he does. Dropping the cycle after a BCS does make me wonder. Really hope you get some rest today. Are you back to work tomorrow or has the mini vacation started?

Mandarin I think you get an A+ on your paper. Walter you have room for improvement. Maybe a nap will help you be alert to grade papers.

How much insulin was the BCS this morning?
I would add in the Remarks of his spreadsheet that he got a bunch of HC early in the cycle last night.
It looks like he's on a mission.
1.50 might be a consideration for a new dose. I have to leave for work. Let's see what others have to say.

I just sat the boys down and explained to them that there won't be any kittens in their Christmas stocking if they keep this up.

Despite the BCS this morning (and I gave 1 U rather than the 1.75), Mandarin is once again dropping early in the cycle. Luckily, I have no plans to go anywhere... and even if I did, we currently have white-out conditions and I don't think I could leave the house anyways.

Mandarin!! Looks like he's saying less juice and would try the 1.5u. I forgot about all the HC food you gave him last night.
I am starting to think that this is where we're headed... unless he all of a sudden heads for the beach.

Sorry the boys kept you up again last night. I think Mandarin is asking for a reducie. I think the suggestion of 1.5 units is a good idea. You can always go right back up if he starts creeping up. I hope Walter slides down slowly and doesn't bounce back up. Hopefully you can get a nap in today.

And what did they say to that!!!!!
They know their mama bean well enough to realize that that's an empty threat. ;)

....but I sure wish they would take me a bit more seriously. Looking at those PM pre-shots, I think the boys are once again up to no good. I reduced Mandarin to 1.5 U - I can always take him back up if I have to, but I hope that this might actually be a dose that I can give for a few cycles in a row.

But the real surprise came from Walter: a green pre-shot after starting the day in pink?!? This is crazy! And it probably doesn't mean that I will get to sleep through the night... but I just couldn't waste this opportunity. So I gave him his full dose... and will probably regret it in a few hours.

Looks like another pj party for the 3rd night in a row!
Mandarin it's awesome to see those green numbers!
Walter, that was quite a drop from AM to PM! Be considerate of your mama Bean; she needs some sleep!

Surf safely boys.
