I got hammered yesterday for not driving often enough or far enough - flat battery after only six days of no driving o_O I thought of you ;)

I sure hope my car karma isn't rubbing off on you. Sorry about the flat.
 
i can't imagine that you're still dealing with the car. these are the things that make people lose it. If i read in tomorrow's newspaper that a crazed woman took a car mechanic hostage demanding that he FIX HER CAR, I'm going to be thinking "hey, is that elise?!" ;):D

I'm really trying hard to be patient about the car but it's not easy.

Max hasn't been dropping under 50 for so long that I thought he forgot it was possible. It shocked me. Hopefully he will forget it's possible again.

What a night. Were you able to get any power naps in? Max....point made. Hanging out in the 80s would be greatly appreciated at this point.
