Poor boy is supposed to be wearing one of those Elizabethan collars (a.k.a. Cone of Shame). His ears both have one fine continuous suture all along the margin. Both ears have been trimmed due to skin cancer. He hates the cone. He won’t even lift up his head when he’s wearing it. So today we all just took turns watching him w left the cone off. Tonight we will put the cone back on while we are all asleep. We have to make sure he doesn’t kick at his ears. He won’t get his stitches out for 10-14 days. Ugh! I am happy that he seems to feel well though.
