Well, it turns out that Mandarin was done with this dose - and he decided that he needed to make a rather dramatic announcement. He started the night at 144 at PMPS, dropped to 110 by +3 and when he woke me up at +5, he had dropped to 32.:eek::eek::eek: I certainly didn't see that one coming. After that, he stayed close to the sharks all night. This morning, I told myself that I would go with a BCS if he was still below 70, but he managed to get a little higher than that.

Luckily, I only teach a night class today, so I will be home to monitor until +8 (and get a nap, I hope). Walter also visited the lagoon briefly to see what his brother was up to.

Sending lots of vines and hugs and good thoughts to @Wendy&Neko as they are saying their final goodbyes. You are very loved, Neko and you have the best bean. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Doodles was watching Mandarin from the shallow end last night. How nice of your boy to go shark hunting the night before a work day that starts a little later. Even better that Walter decided to swim along too! Now take it easy today boys and let mama bean get a nap.

I'm glad Mandarin's pancreas decided to start working the juice properly but Mr. P always gets so dramatic with his plunges! How about a nice gentle slide for Walter today and for Mandarin to keep in the shallow to medium waters today. :)
 
Even though his PMPS doesn't look like it, Walter actually had a nice cycle with a dip into the lagoon. :D Luckily, both boys came up high enough that I was able to go into work a bit early and get some grading done. I am exhausted! For as much as I would like the boys to head back to the lagoon tonight, I really need some sleep... tomorrow will be another long day at work.
