Good morning!
We have been playing the food game this past week and as you will see by Willows SS she has been hitting really bad numbers. We have been unable to find a food that is not high carb and below 1.% P
We went back to her fancy feast fish variety pack. I upped her insulin because she was hitting the high red zone and this is very dangerous for Willow. Her pmps last night was 368bg and she stayed pink at +3.
I was thinking I would find her in the yellow or pink this morning considering she woke me up one to two hours ago eating. I left food out for her last night just in case. Dang do I know my cat! Sure enough she was only 115bg this morning for her amps and this is with her eating a few hours prior. We are going to be gone this after noon today and her dose on the fancy feast was between 1-1.25 iu, to be safe I only gave her 1 iu.
I still have not been able to find syringes at any of our local pharmacies. I have 400 coming in 7 days, meanwhile I only have the ones with unit counts and trying to do a .25 or .50 is guessing.
