Back to the lagoon for Trix
!
Trix had a nice big drop yesterday morning, and then bounced back to upper blues last night....bummer that I wasn't home for a +9 snack to stop that bounce. She don't care 'bout no stinkin' numbers, though....what a happy kitty with an ecstatic appy she was last night
!
This morning was our usual routine, too...continued happy appy and snuggles. Gelcaps have been smooth (anti-jinx!) lately...she really knows how to toss that pill back now, so as long as I don't screw up the placement we're good to go. Banana meds...well...they're going down still, but she DOES try to get away from me when she sees me coming
! Fortunately she doesn't actually bolt - she knows it's a losing battle, but she does walk the other way...can't blame her for hoping. Today was another "swat and wriggle away" day with them....the end is in sight, though, Trix!
(@Serryn...LOL on the banana smoothie! Personally even I can't look at a banana right now!!!)
I took this picture of Trix roasting her belly this morning...all the pictures I took came out pretty grainy and dark for some reason, but when I went back to re-shoot, she had moved, so this was the best of the batch. This is one of many poses she frequently uses...note how she pushes the bed out of the way, yet skillfully places it so it traps the maximum amount of heat in that little nook that she created
! Noah likes to wedge himself in that same spot...they do get really toasty there.
My parents arrived safely in Hawaii...the flight was on time, but apparently getting from the airport to the hotel was a bit of a fiasco. But, as I told them, that - along with bad airplane food - is all part of the adventure! I'm relieved they are there safe and sound.
Another work day for me...looks like I'm not off again until Saturday. Time to get it started. Sending extra prayers out to Gracie for a smooth and safe dental!!
Have a great day, LL!
