If Trix was a little off the other day, she really seemed to be over it by last evening (anti-jinx, trying to control my imagination, etc). Her appy is happy (with Mannie Fuds Dance), eyes are bright, snuggles abundant, some adventure-hunting, and MANY attempts to sneak into the master bedroom (yes, I caved a few times and took her in just to hang out for a bit...she's so cute, how could I say "no"?). So who knows...could have been the need for poo, could have been tension from rough gelcapping incidents, could have been my imagination, could have been a blend of all of it! I wish I wasn't such an oversensitive crazy over-observant helicopter MamaBean, but what can ya do ?

Of course I'm not loving that AMBG, but it's Trix and her crazy OTJ style...at least she dove back to the lagoon pronto. Crazy cat, crazy pancreas....

We are hopefully working our way out of the gelcap rough patch. They haven't been super-smooth, but also not as rough as they had gotten. I wish I knew how to magically make every single gelcap event go perfectly - what's that magical secret?? I guess I'll never really know.

My parents made it back from Hawaii safe and sound, although I am sure they are shell-shocked with the nasty cold weather we've got here. And, it's snowing again. We haven't gotten all that much snow this year - not like last year - but it's been just enough to cause a fair amount of trouble. My Dad is supposed to have chemo today, and hopefully the snow won't throw that off schedule. It's still coming down right now, but should end shortly.

Time for me to get moving. Thinking of Melissa and her family as they mourn the passing of their sweet beautiful civvie, Turnup. What a lucky kitty to have them as her beans.....

Have a great day, L&LL!

Amy

Crazy crazy numbers again, but nice green!! Silly Trixie.

So glad your parents got home safe and sound. Good chemo vines is coming your way.

Thank you for good thoughts. ((((HUGS))))

Hi Amy,
Trixie sounds just fine. I was thinking of your parents while listening to the news of all those flights that were cancelled! So happy to hear that they got home safely. Sending good chemo vines to your dad today.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Silly kitteh! But at least she is eating well. I'm glad your parents are home safe and sound, but they may be wishing they weren't!

Morning Amy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Silly kitty, silly pancreas. But I do love that green, no matter how she gets there. :D Less drama would be good though huh... Trixie is looking awesome, imho.

Good news that your parents made it back OK. I thought about them this morning, hoping that they did. I hope all goes well with the chemo stuff today too.

Have a great day Amy. I hope all goes well.

Trixie looks fabulous, as usual. Ms. P is really earning her keep lately, but she's on the job!

I'll bet when they heard that landing announcement that mentions the weather conditions, your parents seriously considered just staying on the plane and heading out again! Can't say I blame them - it's a shock to go from sunny Hawaii to ice cold and snow!

Sending good chemo vines and better weather vines, too.

Well, I guess for Trixie, as Kermit sang, "It isn't easy being green." But....she's green! Easy or not, the little Tixter gets there.

Vines for your dad's chemo today. (Having done both, I think a few hours in an infusion chair is easier than five hours at the Houston Airport!) Hope the chemo crash is soft this go-round.
