He's lost another 2 ounces but eating fine. I think it's likely water weight and fluids will be needed after all or else I got him after peed three times and poop so I'll check his weight each day and see. He's not quite as hungry today but ate well early (food spike). Then again his numbers aren't low. I skipped ondansetron the last few nights but might give some tonight to see if anything changes. He seems to feel okay but he's good at hiding it.

I try hard to check weights at the same time each day in relation to eating and lb use, but the cat doesn't always cooperate, so a variation of an ounce or two is almost inevitable. I guess the thinking would be to watch for it to become a trend, as opposed to up today and down tomorrow.

I'm glad Max is eating okay. I know that is a huge stressor for you (as for all of us).

Steps get as it may seem, Max has been eating well 90% of the time. I really wouldn't have suspected anything had changed if it weren't for the drinking and urinating increasing so much. He either doesn't feel much different (I hope) or hides it well. He's gone from 15 p0unds 10oz to 15 lbs 5-7 oz in the last three months.

.4oz in 3 months is pretty good. I was weighing weekly but it made me for catatonic than I already am. Looking good today Max man.

It's good to hear Max is eating steadily and hopefully keeping the pancreatitis at bay! Sending our strongest continuing vines and healing prayers for you, Max and your Mom. Extra hugs for you Elise!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
