Not much here...happy appy, snuggles, attempts to break into the master bedroom, and lots of general cuteness :cat:.

We have her follow-up C&S as well as her senior panel and BP check this Wednesday :nailbiting:.....it will be interesting to see what we get this time, given how much of a different cat she is after the ABs. This stuff always makes me nervous....waiting for the results, and I swear there have been times with Trix and some of our other kitties that we've come home with some sort of bug after going in for blood and urine draws....HUGE anti-jinx on all of it!

We had a brief, one day reprieve from the arctic blast, but it is back today....it' has already dropped more than 10 degrees this morning, is supposed to hit the low teens by this afternoon, and be subzero over night. I hate winter.

I'm working the store by myself today, so I'll try to sneak in some extra condo visits in between tasks. Have a great day, L&LL!!

Yay for "not much here." That makes Mondays a little more tolerable. I'll be thinking about you Wed. I know how those vetty visits stress you out. Have a great day Amy!

Morning Amy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

No news is good news! A good WC for you Trixie. Surf well today, eat your fuds, be good to mama and that gelcap. ;) Good luck with your vetty appt on Wednesday. I suspect you will ace it all.

I cannot believe how cold you guys are. Stay warm!

Have a great day Amy. I hope all goes well.

I'm loving that +3.5 this morning, Miss Trixie! Can you give your Mama Bean more of those, please? :D

I feel your chilly weather, Amy & Trixie. We're sitting at 28 degrees and we won't be budging, plus we have sleet, and winds. I had to venture out in this stuff earlier to feed my horse. Hubby didn't go into work today because the roads were nasty, and they still are. Stay warm, and safe. :bighug:

You are one of a kind Trixie, plus a bit of a tease! Give your mamabean a break w/ the AMBGs please.

Those temps are one thing I don't miss about Minnesota, stay warm.

Amy, you and I need to trade locations. It's really windy here today, but I'll bet you'd rather have wind and 55 than what you have now!

I, on the other hand, love winter!

Trixie, looking good, as has become the usual! Lovin' the green! :D

I'm right with you on the nervous anticipation of vetty visits. I have three kitties going in this week and I'm a wreck. Have you tried giving L-lysine for a few days before the visit, to ward off any virus that might be floating around? All my kitties are on it because of Cinco's FHV status, but I know it's good against about any kind of virus.

I hope your day goes quickly at tbp and you get home safely to the warmth of your kitties (oh, and DH, too! :p).

No, I never thought of using L-Lysine before vetty visits...hmmmmm.....

Then again, since I am a nervous mamabean....do I want to throw something different into the mix and possibly rock the boat :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:???

I wouldn't mind a 50 degree winter at all....this freezing cold stuff just kills me, though. When I was younger, I didn't mind winter at all...I was even a skier for quite a while! But these days the dry winter air makes my skin crazy, and my body just doesn't tolerate cold at all...I have to wear two pairs of socks and 4-5 layers (not exaggerating) in the house with the thermostat set on 71 to be moderately comfortable. I miss the days when winter didn't bother me!!

You'd freeze at my house, then. We keep the thermostat at 66 during the day and 58 at night in the winter. In the summer I keep it around 72-74. I hate the heat! Guess EPID, too!

Yep, I would probably die in your house - LOL! My last office job, the boss insisted on keeping the thermostat at 55 during the day...my worst nightmare! During the summer months, I would go out at lunch time and drive around in my car with the windows rolled up and no AC on just to get warm! I filed numerous complaints with HR but to no avail, since this was under the order of the boss.

All that talk about winter and wind is making me so glad Im in Fl right now. We just had our 2 days of winter(30's), and back up to the 80's today. One day the heat is on the next day the A/C:confused: Sending vetty vines for Wednesday!

Yup. The Trixter is a tease! Stinker! Gotta love that +3.5, though.

Vines for Wednesday. Nervous Nellie here, too, about vetty visits.

Winter. Nope. Don't like inconveniencing snow/ice. Especially here in the high desert where no one deals with it very well. Light, fluffy, easy to drive through stuff...Yup. That's great.

The high for today was zero, and it's -10 at the moment, dropping fast. It's been very windy, so I'm sure the wind-chill is about -30 now. We keep our house at 64 during the day and 58 at night. But we have hot-water radiators that really hold the heat, thermal shades and thermal curtains, and thermal quilts on the doors to the porches. We also have our wood stove, but don't use that in the really cold weather because it affects the thermostats and the rest of the house gets too cool.

Trixie, we'll be cheering for you to have a good vetty appointment on Wednesday.

Keep warm, Amy!
