Doodles 2/5 Doodles increase will come tonight or worse case tomorrow. I have to be out for few hours tomorrow late morning/ early afternoon and not sure I want to increase before that. His bg's are terrible. He did poop late last night but was stinky. :confused: Otherwise his appy is good...and the purr machine continues.

My DM and I went to 6 different stores yesterday looking at cat trees. Those giant ones are just unrealistic for my cats. One they are heavy (not cats not the trees :p:p) and Doodles frankly is a ground dweller. So I actually think this one is perfect and they both seem to like it and Doodles can get on all the levels.

Doodles sure seems to like his new tree! It looks nice and sturdy too. Some of the first trees I bought hard cardboard posts under the sisal and my little hooligans managed to destroy them very quickly. I much prefer the solid wood posts and the larger base.

They do seem to love the tree. Do they still scratch on them? If so it will be interesting to see if they will scratch the wood. Mine with wood was for sleeping only.
 
Nice choice. Fritz had one with the curve and he loved it. Looking to find another one. Where did you get that one? It looks low enough to the floor that Fritz would be able to get up on it. He too is a floor dweller.

It's perfect for Doodles and Moo is enjoying it too. I found it at a Pet Club in North Mesa. If I can find it on the internet I'll send you the link. It's the only one I found like it. The rest were just completely unrealistic for him.
 
The new tree looks comfy and I like the curves! Looks like The Doodles likes it :cat:

Santa kitty brought my boys a small cat tree that sits at one of the windows they like to look out. Have they used it? Nope. Well not the second level of it; only the part that rests on the floor:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I hope the Doodles comes down some for you today and spends time on the shore.

Ugh, I couldn't stand it anymore and up to 6u tonight :nailbiting::banghead: I'll cancel plans tomorrow should he pull a Doodle. I'm having nightmares from last year at this time when he got stuck in yellow/pink then red & black until April. I know it was that bad PFS and me reducing...please let that be the case.
 
Good luck with the dosecrease - and I hope he'll behave himself tomorrow.

...and I'll try to get a video of my two little monkeys flying from one 6-foot cat tree to another. :eek:
 
he looks so cute on his new cat tree.. come on Doodles mama is uping the juice time to work it... sorry you are thinking back to last year when the memories arent so good cause of being stuck in the black and red... come on Doodles mama bean is really worrying... :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I like that new tree. It's hard to find good ones with wood here, except from the guy who makes really cool ones with driftwood. I have one, but it's $$$$$. I also like the lower height of the first perch where Doodles is sitting, great for senior kitties.
