Good morning!
I ask Boomer for a green number and he gives me......
AMPS 131
GRRR
He had very low carb food overnight, one was 2.52 and one was 1.84 so I really think he needs something a bit higher. At one point I thought around 4.0 seemed to be what he needed but I have trouble finding foods around that carb level that he will eat and mixing two foods together didn't seem to work out:rolleyes:o_O.

Boomer ate all his foods overnight though he left his 5:10 treat. He did treat us to some singing around 2:30 but he stayed out in the living room so I presumed it wasn't food related and stayed in bed. He came to bed shortly after that.

Those of you that give lactulose.....do you give it before a meal? The last two evenings Allen has barfed about 15 minutes after having the lactulose and eating. He could have been sick previously too but may have been in the basement (which is very messy so a barf could be hidden from sight). It seems to be the canned food he's barfing so this morning I have withheld the canned food for a while.

The cake smash was basically a success although he wanted nothing to do with sitting still for his pre-smash portraits. But he liked the cake; he took the large candle and started using it as a spoon and when mom discovered he had actually bitten off a tiny piece of the wax she replaced the candle with a spoon. First kid ever to eat his cake smash cake with a utensil lol. He liked the cake but really wasn't very messy with it. We followed the cake smash with a tub session and he liked that too. But we were actually done the entire session in an hour so it was very quick. Below is the sneak peek I posted for the parents in Facebook yesterday.

After the cake smash, since it was reasonably nice out (although as soon as I mentioned a walk to DH the sun went in) we went for a walk along the river. There were several different birds on the water and I was happy to hear and see a Common Loon.....I've never seen one before and I certainly didn't get a good shot of it since it was in the middle of the river....but at least I can say that I've seen one lol

I'm not sure about the lactulose. Doodles has had it a few times but I've never given him the full recommended dose. Not sure that would cause vomiting with Allen unless maybe he was struggling to poop  If they are still suspecting lymphoma, vomiting is common from my understanding. Are there any next steps planned for him?

Boomer, you did so good in the lagoon yesterday! Sure he'll be back splashing around in no time. The AMPS is frustrating and hope they start coming down soon.

Cute picture and glad it went well yesterday.

Very cute picture! ...and I have to admit that it really cracked me up that he ate part of the candle.

Sorry, no advice about the lactulose - but is it possible that he just needs a slower transition to the new food?

Fingers crossed that Boomer will be back in the lagoon soon!

I hope you can find some food that helps Boomer stay in green. I don't know about the lactulose either. I hope you can figure something out. Sending prayers.

Cute picture.
