Not quite the lagoon, but a nice start none-the-less. I have noticed that when I follow a slightly different test/feed schedule on my days off (like today), I definitely see different results.

All the usuals today...happy appy, snuggles galore, bright eyes, and hunting for adventure (as well as kibbles:confused:...can't blame a girl for trying :joyful:!)

And, of course, master bedroom guilt trips. She is so stinkin' cute and funny. At one point, she was laying on a blanket on the floor in the hall near the bedroom. DH headed up the stairs - he was half way up when he saw her RUN for the master bedroom :joyful:....so cute, but it was dinner time for the beans so we couldn't go in. And, at that point, we'd already done her fluids - I actually spent an extra half hour pre-fluids in there with her, just hanging out while we waited for DH to shower. She's happy as clam, just laying on the bed up there.

The last few days at work were immensely exhausting...a mix of good busy and not-so-good busy. Trix and civvie Petey REALLY helped by snuggling with me on the couch when I totally crashed after dinner. Of course ALL the kitties are a pure joy, but it was nice to wake up and see them piled on top of me. I was so tired I didn't even wake up when they decided it was snuggle-time!

I am off today, so it's time to begin those chores. It is far better to do chores with kitties around than it is to be at work without any kitties! Have a great day, L&LL!

Hi Amy,
It sounds like you are enjoying your day at home with the kitties. Even chores aren't a chore! :joyful:

Trixie, keep on doing what you're doing.

Carry on! Is the big storm affecting you today?

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

We don't have any visible accumulation, so to speak, but we have really bad black ice everywhere. DH had to "lock" his feet around the wheels of the cars while cleaning off the windshields because he had no traction at all. This winter has been very different from last year - last year, we repeatedly got pounded with snow, but this year, we keep getting these icy, rain, very sloppy storms (while people to the north of us get all the snow). I'm not sure which is worse!

I'd say the icy rain. With the snow you at least have something pretty to look at (until it gets dirty and slushy). I can't think of anything good about icy rain.

Sounds like Trixie is having yet another wonderful day. Hooray for days off with kitties, even when chores are involved (if your kitties are like mine, they love to "help"). Enjoy it, Amy. :)

Great Trixie report. So cute on her trying to get in the bedroom. I hope your messy weather clears up soon. I'd rather have snow than ice.
