good morning

Need to get different syringes today! The ones I have are a gushing the amount and will not work!
She is still a little high.
Need to get a better food
Any advise would be great
We need under 1.0 on phosphorus
Low carb and high protein
She was on BFF she may be allergic to the BFF
Fancy feast is too high on P
Science diet too much carbs
Nulo seems like the carbs are too much
Advise?

hi
Thank you
Small list and looks like the BFF we were using was one of the good ones

Isn't it fun trying to find foods that are low carb/low phosphorus! I also had to try to find low sodium. :banghead: Home made food (with a premix) worked best for me, until Neko decided she didn't want to eat it any more. I did feed some of the Weruva. They have a couple of new flavours since that list Karen gave you was published, but are kind enough to list their phosphorus numbers here. The only thing you have to watch is that some of them are also low calorie. I was trying to keep weight on and maximize the amount of calories, so a number of the options didnt' work for me. I did a couple that were just barely over the 1%.

I sometimes fed the Wellness, mostly cause she would eat it and it was higher calorie. The problem is the carrageenan in it - which could have been a contributor to her ibd/lymphoma.:mad:

Hi
Yeah this is being a problem trying to get a food that is not high carb! :banghead: :bookworm:
I'm out of food, I'll opt for the fancy feast until I find something better. I can alway add a little egg white to push the P down. Willow has gotten fat! She was 6lbs and she is now 11 lbs cutting her calories would not be a bad thing.
Waiting on the vet for prescription for the syringe because the two boxes I have are 1 unit and no 1/2 marks and I'm not really into guessing every time.
Today Willow blasted into red! Then she would not eat the new food, gave her fancy feast and she ate the entire can. The fancy feast compared to BFF is our higher carb food.
:banghead::banghead::arghh::bookworm:

Ahhhhhhh already! Unreal high numbers, none of the pharmacies around me have the smaller insulin syringes
Going to:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: all day!
