Dentist then work today. Very much looking forward to our long weekend so I can try to finish three years' of Australian and U.S. tax returns. Whoop whoop!

@Fiona & Ruby , Ballarat has been suggested to me as a Melbourne alternative. I'll have to pick your brain sometime about that!

 

Long weekend here also but not for Australia Day.

If we had been young enough , we would have liked to move to the Melbourne area from New Zealand. We didn't emigrate to NZ to get to Oz but after a couple of years or so we felt NZ is not quite for us.

Anyway. Here is to a green and blue day for you both.

Yes! @Juliet . Won't expand as it clogs Darrah's condo but in brief. Started to seriously look at this first half of last year then Tyler got diabetes. He likely could not make that trip.

 

That’s my reason for stalling too.

She looks great, doesn't she? She's a happy cat, though still sore with arthritis. I'm bouncing from doctor to doctor, but all is well. Yup: the weekend's going to be just amazing! Hah!
