Yesterday

Gizmo ate his breakfast this morning, but was very reluctant to do so. My husband has to leave for an appt between +3 and +4 (his normal low point), so I went conservative with 0.5 unit this morning. Although since then, my work has been canceled due to the weather, so I will be home with him today. I think I’m going to go shopping for some different flavors of food. He acts like he is hungry, but isn’t happy with his normal food. Lately though, he will devour the HC food, which is a new flavor.

 

+3 = 67 retested at 85

Ate normal snack willingly
Going to keep a close eye on him ... not sure which number was accurate

 

I hope Gizmo surfs safely for you today and his appy picks up. Hopefully you can find some LC food that he will like.

I just found out yesterday that my civvie didn't like the pate food texture of what I feed the cats (I do not give them a variety, due to another civvie throwing up anything new). So I pureed his food and he slurped it right up. Just something to think about.

 

I’ve wondered about that also, but he will eat shreds, pate, and mousse. So I’m not sure. Something to think about and try though if his pickiness continues.

It was messy and a PITA to clean. Last time I used an immersion blender. Worked just as good or better and easy clean-up (got it at a garage sale for $1 )
