    Less stress today for sure!

Looking at the spreadsheet and recent numbers, I strongly suspect that he went lower than usual the night of 4/1 (he was 201 at your before-bed check, and 206 at the AMPS but clearly-- in retrospect-- headed upwards with speed!). So this is probably bouncing, but he's maybe getting a little action from the insulin today.

Will be interesting to see where he is tonight!

Should I be worried about +3 185, should I get up and test in middle of night?

Small snack of his low carb food because that's a big drop. He's still in very safe numbers but he's new to Lantus so I'd set an alarm for +6.

Should I be worried we are heading to low? Or need to retest again in 2 hrs?

I think you're OK. The new dose is beginning to settle in. Those are good numbers this evening. Test again if you're unsure.
