1u of lantus (day 2 on lantus previous was on vetinsulin from mar9-28) this morning and wet food
(first time posting don't have prior days post)
eating and other things fine
how many hours from injection time until midday test? 6-7 hours?

A lot of cats nadir (lowest point of the cycle) around halfway through the cycle (6 hours or +6). If you can get a test then, it's a good idea. It's also a good idea to get a +10 or +11 test to see if Gizmo's numbers will be rising or falling at PM shot time.

Somewhere between +5 and +7 is a good time to test (5 to 7 hours after the shot)....the nadir doesn't always fall exactly in the middle of the cycle at +6

Some cats nadir early...like around +4....some don't nadir until later in the cycle (around +9/+10) so for now, we're just gathering data on Gizmo to try to learn where HE is going to usually nadir
