Super green surf from the Purrdster last night
@Ann & Tess thanks for the lb creation tip I had been wondering if it might be better to leave the top intact. If we both think so it must be right
I was thinking I might try the chicken crumbles litter too. I have some here still left over so I'll let you know how it goes. I'll have to watch out for Meggles though. She doesn't come into the area where the lb is too often but when she does she likes to leave a surprise in there for Vyktor and she will definitely want to eat the crumbles, sometimes she even tries to have a nibble on the clay

@Chris & China The date error yesterday was probably wishful thinking on my part - for me that would mean missing winter completely and heading straight back to summer
I guess I better let you have spring though!
I've got a horrible suspicion that Vyktor is starting to have trouble with his mouth again already (faucitis). It is freaking me out, he was slow waking up from the last anaesthetic and with what happened to sweet Milo
...
From what I have found about the stem cell option this is still only in the experimental phase and is the subject of current research. There seems to be only the one case study published from 2013. Under these circumstances I think I'm going to be a pushover for giving Metacam, as Bron has mentioned, in Australia we do have a lower concentration version for cats. But from what I have read this isn't likely to be a long term solution anyway
