    Yesterday

    Good Afternoon, L&LL,

The Depo Medrol is working and Rusty's breathing is improving. His appetite is pretty good today, too, although I have to keep at him to finish his portions (Rusty is a grazer and often forgets that he left some food in his dish for later).

Weather is wet, slushy snow. Very unpleasant. Everyone up here has cabin fever. Our film group is getting together again tonight to get inspired (?) by watching the movie "K2" (a mountaineering disaster). Just the thing for cabin fever! Rusty will host, as usual.

Sending vines for all in need,

Very happy to hear that Rusty is feeling better!
We had a lot of snow today although nothing that has stayed thankfully. Tomorrow is supposed to be the start of a warming trend. I certainly hope it happens!
Have a good time with your film group!

So glad th shot is helping! It's too bad Rusty can't tolerate the transdermal pred, but at least you've got an option.

Yuck on that weather. We don't quite have snow, but it is really chilly, still hovering in the mid-40s. Last Saturday, it was in the 80s...I was outside in a tank top. Temps dropped 45 degrees overnight...on Sunday, I went food shopping in my winter coat and mittens. Crazy!

Looks like the steroid is beginnng to affect Rusty's bg. I may have to go back up in dose tonight.
    Wet snow continues.
Spent the afternoon shredding ancient bank and credit card statements, and reading Madeline Albright's new book on Fascism. Then 30 minutes on the rower. Gotta keep moving!

What a balancing act! Glad he's breathing better. Maybe you can convince the vet that more often than 3 weeks is needed for Rusty to be comfortable. Enjoy the movie!

Good breathing, good appetite, good host at the film night. Whacky numbers! I guess the old dose is too much. May have to take it down a notch tomorrow.
