Good morning!

Yesterday's thread.

Carter started off in the pinks this morning @ 376! Last night he took a dip into the blues too.

Hotspot almost cleared up.

My civvie Odin is not a HUGE fan of the autofeeders if he's in the room when they rotate, but with treats and convincing, I'm slowly getting him warmed up to it. Carter/Simon don't have any issues, of course.

I bought a pet fountain to encourage more drinking but so far I've only seen Carter drink out of it (which is good) but I'd like to see the other boys take interest, I haven't seen them use it at least. Simon likes to drink from the dog bowl, and Odin likes to drink from the hall bathroom toilet, sigh.

Maybe we'll see some interesting numbers from Carter today! I have to go submit some job applications this afternoon so my testing times might be a little off today but I'll do as many as I can.

Have a good Saturday!

My Forrest used to do that! I would catch him and when I didn't catch him there would be little paws prints on the toilet seat. :banghead:

Looks like Carter is bouncing a bit from the pretty blues.
Yes!! He does that too! And he ususally uses the litter box first (which is in the bathroom) and then he splashes litter into toilet/onto the sink.

I don't have an issue with Simon wanting to drink out of the dog's water bowl however I have a 70 pound dog and sometimes if we're not home she'll drink all the water until we can come home and fill it up so I want him to know he has another option... it's really surprising too since Simon LOVES to drink out of the tap, I thought out of any of them he'd be all about the fountain.

Hopefully we'll see some numbers more reflective of the dose increase today...

Erica, I have a pet fountain that my boys drink out of maybe once every 3 months or so. Both of them stopped drinking when they started a canned only diet, except for when Bandit's diabetes has been uncontrolled. I've stopped stressing out about trying to get them to drink and just add little extra water in their food. No use fighting millions of years of cat evolution! :)

True. It's a neat fountain and it's there if they need it, my cats are all princesses so change is always a huge deal for them, maybe they'll warm up. I've been adding water to their food in the form of ice cubes so it can gradually melt and help keep the food cool during the day in their automatic feeder. :)

Did you get the Petsafe feeders? I don't know if you saw but there is a compartment for an ice pack! I didn't even notice it (and it was the only thing I was missing about my old feeders) until a few weeks ago.
