I dropped my grumpy muffin at the vet for his bloodwork. He was so nervous that he was foaming at the mouth... no one seemed concerned so I guess its an okay response of an anxious cat? Either way... gross.

He is getting the expensive test for his thyroid. Also asked them that if they need to sedate to clean up his chin. We are still fighting the same pimple. And now he has 2 more. *sigh*

He has different types of food for them to give him once he is done and he should be a good boy.
 
Poor Gordy. I had a cat that used to do that any time he had to go to the vet. I hope Gordy's b/w comes back good. :bighug::bighug:
 
They've already called and said he is done! They were able to get his blood without sedation, thank god. I'm at the hardware store now, so I asked for them to get him some of the pate, since it's time for snackie and that I'll be there as soon as I'm done

I stopper testing after that, but he should hopefully be in the blues for preshot... *fingers crossed*

The vet tech told me the result could take up to a week and to not be anxious.

No, I told them not to try if he wasn't sedated. I knew he'd freak out a lot and I don't want to cause him more stress. I just really need to be better about his acne meds... I just get paranoid about him ingesting it.

It may be the plastic from his auto feeder, but we went a while before he started it as severe. He used to get them from plants outside (allergy), so its possible its that again. However, I would have no idea to what now since he is indoor only.

I got little glass dishes to put into the feeder slots to avoid that issue. They are sold as dipping dishes.
