I'll set my alarm for 1:30am

I'll try to cat nap, that is what I did for a week when I had to test her every two hours every night
    Thank again for the help!

If you can manage TR, and it looks like you can, it will give Willow the best chance of remission. SLGS was developed here based on experience. In my mind it was great when there was nothing else, and is still great for those that can't manage TR for whatever reason but TR is a veterinary protocol with much higher remission rates. It's goal (of keeping kitties in normal numbers) also means that there is likely to be less damage to kidneys etc from excess glucose if the kitty doesn't achieve remission. Absolutely your choice though and no pressure to do something you're not comfortable with. When you've made a firm decision add that info to your signature to help people give you the correct advice for the method/protocol you are following.

I'll be keeping my eyes out for her next number...

Looks like you are right to go to bed properly now :)

Don't be concerned if she's high in the morning she may bounce.

Nigh night - don't forget to take the headlamp off lol

James, just wanted to pop in and say, "good job!" tonight!

You are probably okay to go to bed for the night now, but I'd leave some food out for her. If you're nervous about what she might do, you can always get up in a couple of hours and check her.

I saw where someone mentioned you should have some High Carb (HC) food on hand, just in case Willow goes too low. If you don't already have some, get some Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers. The good thing about that is you can just give them the gravy, and it won't fill them up too much. It's good to have several cans on hand.

Yes leave the low carb food out and if you get up again remove it then to make sure her PS number isn't food influenced.

HAHA. My husband wear's a headlamp to test the at night kitties too

Sorry I fell of the boards last night, left the office and when I got home there were 6 kitties at the door demanding my attention. Left you in good hands though. Great night for Willow! She is responding so well to the new regimen. Exhausting for you I bet.

    Hi
My wife will be coming home to check her and give her insulin, looks like she has been eating and not sure the last time she did eat today. It could affect her PMPS number nothing I can do about it, we left enough food out for her all day
Again thank you for the help last night
