All is well with the fur monster today. He's liking his new food option - Purely Chicken. it's nice to have another LC option.

Who make Purely Chicken and what are the carbs.

Someone on Community posted about this food. There is a Purely Chicken and a Purely Fish variety. They are 10 or below. I'll find the link and post it.

He's still attached to his drop on insulin it seems. Hopefully ge'll let go of the blues this week and we can go to "the next step"! :lol:

It's Whiskas brand.

Here's the link. It seems they are low carb, but it doesn't seem like the final % was calculated.

Have you noticed that a lot of times, Boomer's numbers are higher at night?

 

WOW. I'm shocked by this number. I wish I could understand why he's always blue at the PMPS. It's messing up a potential trial! I've got the autofeeder going but he doesn't always eat.

boy .. if mocha and boomer could get together and work on their numbers .. mocha is ALWAYS higher in the morning! darn cats ...

 

I hear ya Devon! Boomer is ALWAYS higher at night. Drives me nuts.
Soooo....today I'm trying a new tactic with my auto feeder. I'm not putting any food in the first two bowls, so by the time it gets to the food later in the day he'll be hungy enough to eat. This will hopefully his PM number better. A lot of time he doesn't eat much of the food in his autofeeder. If this doesn't work, I'll try leaving 3 bowls empty so he'll have an even better appetite.

 

thats a smart idea traci ... mocha never has a problem eating .. but we set it so she does not get any food two hours prior to her am test...
