Hi Sonia,

I hope Leo surfs safely. Nice green:D

In the past, has Leo bounced the way that Yoyo bounces? I know ECID, but I am just wondering; it's like Yoyo takes 1 step ahead and then he takes two steps backward.

Enjoy your day!!!

Well Yo’s had some changes lately so try not to worry. Once you use the Ulticare syringes consistently, I feel we will get him back on track. This is definitely a bounce from last night’s green numbers.

It seems you know me well, that is all I do....WORRY. Everything bothers me. For a couple of hours in his PM cycle he was doing so good, then this morning WOW Reds...my heart sinks! He had nice green numbers last night, not those low scary green numbers and then he sky rockets this morning. (I'll take him to Disney World and he can ride all the roller coasters he wants:))

I feel better using the UltiCare VetRX syringes, I can measure easier and I have the calipers to double check for consistency. The syringe has fat fat fat lines, but nothing is perfect and I have to start with something. And I like that there is NO EXCESS insulin. I know that I may have made a bid deal out of this whole thing, but I want to know exactly what I am giving my kitty without hidden insulin getting into him.

Let me know if I need to do anything with his dose. Monday I have an appointment for my doggie, Adori, at the cardiologist. So no changes for Yo and me until Tuesday if any are necessary.

Hope you had a GREAT day and enjoy your evening. :bighug:

I called ADW and they have an order coming in hopefully next week for Ulticare human syringes. I was told that they are 6mm which usually are more money but the price is $14.70. I'm not sure if that is for 60 count or 100 count.
They are U-100, 3/10cc, 31G with half unit markings!

ADW also sells UltiCare VetRX syringes. This is the syringe that I started Yoyo with yesterday. The lines are thick so I'm not sure what you are used to using. I like the syringe because so far I do not see any excess insulin in the hub area as there really is no hub area. The needle seems to come right into the syringe.

I never liked thick ones either but with the calipers, it shouldn’t matter.

So we will let the dose ride until after the cardiologist visit on Monday, yes?
