Another reducie earned. She didn't seem to bounce this morning, so I took the reduction. She played a bit longer last night. She is feeling good.

Dare I chance saying she seems to be doing reductions easily and holding them. I can't help thinking it will all backfire somehow.

Big question. Since she seems to have large drops +4-6. Would giving 12% carbs at @ +2 when she ready to eat again be a smart idea and then 6% at +3 (she is always begging for food +2 & +3). I want to try to head off large drop. It hasn't worked in the past but hoping it might help now since she seems to on a mission. Just don't want the 12% to increase her.

Congrats on the reducie. I think the only way you'll know if the 12% works is to try it. ECID in how they respond to carb percentages.

So nice to see Olive spending so much time in blue and green! I'm a bit surprised that she's still bouncing so much though. I would try the higher carb food at +2 to see if you can stop the large drop.

+3.5 some more 12% given. Feeder set for +6 with regular lc food. Hubby instructed to give small regular food if she really insists of eating (all she just has to look at him for him to think she's starving). I'm off to get much needed groceries.

Any ideas how to train husband?

Looks like the 12% carb food slowed things down, I have some 9% food that seems to be enough for us when I'm trying to slow Mav down, but I agree, it's good to play around with % carb and amounts. Nice cycle, Olive, glad to see it was nothing too crazy, so your mama bean could go get some groceries :):cat:
