“No matter how you care to define it, I do not identify with the local group. Planet, species, race, nation, state, religion, party, union, club, association, neighborhood improvement committee; I have no interest in any of it. I love and treasure individuals as I meet them, I loathe and despise the groups they identify with and belong to.”

A bit of Rain, but that's OK. Kitties are doing good. Ravan got a very tiny increase at pmps because he was going too high & he surprised me with a 49!
It's a balancing act . I'll see if I can get it right this morning!

Hope everyone has a Wonderful day,no matter what Mother Nature decides to do! :joyful:

I love your George Carlin quote. How is Peggy Sue doing today?

Thank you. I love good old George & miss his Honest ,Witty comments. I think he was a Genius! I'm Happy you enjoy my attempt to "Decorate" my condo! To entertain or even to just get people thinking with quotes.:joyful:

Peggy Sue is eating good. Her chin is still swollen but she chews her raw meat without any sign of discomfort? I did give her slippery elm this morning. She ate but looked like she had an upset tummy.

Today is the 4th day on Clavamox.

Ravan was "Very" playful. He tried to wrestle with Peggy Sue but she gave him a whack in the head to let him know she wasn't in the mood today! It looks like rain but maybe not. It's about 70 degrees, nice out.

Good day to pull weeds :D

I sent you a PM

It's incredible how so little insulin made him drop into the limes.

Yes, a very powerful Hormone. That's why it's so scary when Vets do not understand how to use Lantus. They sometimes start off with a large dose because they see High BG.
You'd think they'd take the time to read up on it if they didn't know how to use it?

I'm glad I found this web site! Although I have to say my Vet did know to start out with 1 unit. And he's open minded enough that he didn't question me about home testing.
When I showed him the spread sheet after a few months he was very impressed.

He might be retiring soon & I do not know where I'll go! :(

What a great cycle for Ravan, it sounds a lot like he’s feeling really great too.

I hope everything goes well with your vets practice if he retires. Hopefully the vet that takes over is just as good ... fingers crossed :)
