Hello hello!!
It is officially official - we have joined the L&L Gang! I gave Lou his first dose of glargine this evening, and (if you couldn't tell), I'm really excited to see how Lou does on a depot insulin! I just gave the first dose an hour and a half ago, so nothing really to report there... I was just excited to post my first post.
My initial thoughts are I'm shocked at how small a dose 3U seemed to be on the U-100 syringes compared to U-40s. I kept checking to make sure I had the right dose and right syringes (I do, 3/10 cc's with half unit marks)... but jeez. I feel like I need glasses to see the marks, and I already wear glasses.
I have this weekend off so I can monitor him closely. I hope all of your kitties surf safely tonight!
