Afternoon all,

Hugs and vines to all who need them.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
It's a very sad day in LL with the passing of Paula, she will be missed:(

Well today is a week since BFG went the juice wish his ambg had been better for his one week anifursary, he seems to keep getting the occaisonal blue ambg or pmbg, I am still testing twice a day, just couldn't give it up and George comes asking for his test/treat regular as clockwork, so I hate to disappoint him:rolleyes:.

We've been trying some new foods, which are lower in P, unfortunately he is not that keen on the ones with lowest P, so I have been having to mix it up with some of his regular to try to get him to eat it. That works to a degree, but some more patience may be required with that. Our feral/stray farm cat seems to like the leftovers of it though, so at least we are looking after his kidneys:rolleyes:

He seems happy, so much more active than this time last year, he's been asking to go outside and he perambulates at a senior pace checking out all the nooks and crannies. He finds watching the swallows build their nest under the eaves particularly entertaining. And he has been working hard on his tan sunbathing belly up:)

Normal is normal.:) I have lots of lab tests for Max for years before he became diabetic and he never was low. Granted they were taken at the vet's office but still I think some cats naturally run higher than others. Happy week one at the Falls.

Furball still gives me blue numbers from time to time. I don't worry about it. Some cats just run higher than others. Happy One Week Anniversary!

With Furball we still do the test routine in the morning, but I don't poke her ear. I just love on her and give her treats. I do still test in the evening. Our cats do get used to the testing routine and it's hard to break it.
