Looks like after all the excitement of the surfing demo's, diving exhibitions and the heart-stopping new "team surfing" event of last night with Harvey, China is taking it easy today

Of course she had to make an appearance in the lagoon and spend a little time checking the water earlier, but this afternoon she's going to watch the kitties from the lifeguard tower on the beach and leave the paddling to LagoonMeister Rusty

Got our new shipment of Orijen Wild Boar treats today so she's happy!! Last time I ordered 6 bags from Chewys and realized (too late) that if I'd ordered 2 more bags, I would have qualified for free shipping (I hate paying for shipping...even $4.95)

This time instead of ordering them online, I called the company. I ordered 7 but it still came up to only $48.93 (need $49 for free shipping) but the nice lady sent it out without charging me any shipping charges :) I had heard that Chewys was a good company to deal with, so I had hoped when I called that she'd notice it was almost $49...and she did!!

We're good to go on treats for awhile!! I just hope she doesn't decide she doesn't like them now!!! (anti jinx)

Our new insulin I ordered on Monday from Marks said it cleared Customs in San Fran today (whew! I always worry until it clears customs) so I'm hoping it arrives on Friday or Saturday....then we'll be set and fully stocked up for awhile!

Yo Deputy China, You deserve a turn on the lifeguard tower. You've done a great job in the lagoon. The team surf was quite something to watch.

Hi Chris, Those treats must be really good. I bought a bag once for Rusty, but it was the dog size and cutting them down didn't work very well. He wasn't interested.

So you seem to have spoken too soon earlier. 51--a little brinksmanship there. (Brinkscatship?)

I just ordered from Chewy's for the first time. They had the best price by far on Wellness and the order came very quickly--free shipping!

I sympathize with waiting for customs. I buy some of my asthma meds from overseas because even with insurance is is WAAAAAAAYYYYYY cheaper. Even for the same brands. But they can get held in customs and I worry all the time about that.

Tell China Rosie needs a swift kick to come back on down. She might need to be reminded of the fun to be had in tha lagoon.
 
And with China surfing safely towards the shoreline, mama is going to bed!

Gotta be up in 4 hours to start the whole adventure again!

I had been having our litter auto shipped from Chewy's. Free shipping and about $2 a box cheaper than in the store. We've downsized our lbs lately, so I've got a surplus now, but Chewy's lets you suspend the auto ship for a month, so I've done that a couple of times. I've had really great interactions with this company. Remember that they sent a card to Marje when she asked if she could return some food because Gracie crossed. Good people.

Harvey enjoyed surfing with China all day and much of the night. He's really getting the hang of it. Thanks for the lessons, China!
