Gordy is living up to "the reason I have trust issues". I think I'll make that his middle name

After doing a lot of reading, I decided to follow advice and cut Gordy's
Methimazole dose to 1.25 BID. I hope my vet doesn't get too mad at me, but I've worked so hard for him to alive and I don't want an improper dose to take him from me.

I take it you have been approved by the group. One thing some members have done was to cut the dose without informing the vet and waited for the test results to come back. Once the results came back, they would inform the vet they did the change after getting some information. Some vets may not like the fact you went online so it's better to refer to Plumb's or some other dependable source they should know from vet school.

Lastly...

Like I said before, Tanner lived with his thyroid issues for 5 years. It is manageable.
