Yesterday

Harvey's on beach patrol today. He said he was tired from surfing all night. Same old story on fuds: Ate half his t/f/s meal, but didn't want breakfast. Gave him tummy meds, then he ate like a pig. :) 1.75 cans down! Happy mama! :woot:

The GE repairman is here now looking at the microwave. He's pretty sure it is a part that he will have to order (of course), so we'll be without the microwave for at least another week. :arghh::arghh::arghh: :banghead::banghead::banghead: Man, do I need a glass of wine!! :blackeye:

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug:

Harvey was CPC at dinner! :) He's already had one refill. Gotta love those meds. ;)

Are you allowed to add wine yet?
Nope. I've selected this Saturday as my day to add that, as we'll be out to dinner with friends.

The microwave should be fixed on Monday the 27th. It could have been Thursday the 23rd, but I have a hair appt. that day that I made two months ago and don't want to have to wait another two weeks or so for another. Friday was out for both of us, so Monday it is. I told DH I couldn't make it that long without a microwave, so he agreed to my running over to Walmart and picking up one for $63!! When ours is fixed I'm going to find a way to squeeze this one in on the bar (we have a walk-behind wet bar in the family room). I know I'll like having a second one - there have been plenty of times I've wished I did, so this is a blessing in disguise. Dinner is all leftovers tonight, so this is going to make it soooo much easier! :)

Ahhhh, dinner and test time were both sooo much easier tonight. Hooray for Walmart being 5 minutes away!

Harvey's appy kind of petered out. I'm hoping it will revive before the evening is over, but I'm prepared to give meds again if necessary.

Aren't those cheap microwaves wonderful?? I remember when my dad was the first person in the neighborhood (heck, almost the first person in Kansas City!) to buy a "Radar-range"....thing cost him almost $2000 but boy were we the talk of the town!!

Of course everyone thought we'd be dead from radiation poisoning soon too!!

Hope he gets his pill-happy appy back soon....without the pills part!!

Thats great! I see he have the same problem with breakfasts like Tačka. Which tummy meds do you have? I want to see her eating her breakfast like a pig too
