WCR: All Ps in place. We made it safely to my parent's house and are all tucked away in my nephews room. I hate that she's only allowed one room, but I know her and I know she'll get into everything she's not allowed and she'll destroy stuff. hmmmm...maybe I should let her out so that we can see what needs to be put away before the new kitten arrives!!! My sister and I are at a loss when it comes to kittens and what kind of destruction they will bring to a house. It's been so long since either of us had a kitten. Anyways, Shasta was VERY HAPPY to get out of her carrier yesterday. Poor girl had to pee something awful. And before anyone thinks I drove 8-9 hours without allowing a senior cat a litterbox opportunity, I'll let you know that I pulled over more times yesterday for her than I ever have for myself. It felt like I pulled over at every rest stop!!! She peed at the first rest stop, but no more after that. ugh! I'm always amazed at her numbers when we get to my parent's house...usually pretty nice. Strange.
OT: my sister and her kids are getting super excited about adopting a new kitten. Any advice for caring for a new kitten would be greatly appreciated!!! (like I said, neither of us have had kittens in well over 16 years!)
