I did that...Dr prescribed gabapentin for my hot flashes. Like 300 pills!!!! Dog was taking them for her arthritis or something...exact same pill!!! I checked!

I never took them but saved them for Sadie...

 

I take gaba for pain all over

 

I didn't understand how it would help with hot flashes unless the point was just knock me out so I could sleep. I was to take 3 pills 3x per day.

 

Omg, that would knock u out all day, true you would not know if I had hot flashes lol u would be asleep

 

Well, back to reality tonight, had my 2 nights of freedom cat sitting easy peasy till next tue lol

I was on Remeron (mirtz) for depression about 20 years ago. Yep, you will sleep and wake up and eat and sleep and wake up and eat. Lol.

I was on it a short time but anytime I needed to get really sleep I took 1/4-1/2 pill.

Around the same time my FIL was put on it for severe headaches.

 

Have you tired out the feeder yet?

 

Hey, glad you chimed in. Jamie and I were talking and I mentioned about feeding +9 to see if it helps with the PS numbers (and the diving). I admitted that I didn't fully understand how or why it works but had seen it work .

Can you explain it better? If she can get Bella to eat from the feeder at +9 I think it might help level him out a bit.

 

Well, it's my understanding that the +9 feeding is during the PM cycle and that it helps the AMPS number to come down and that it isn't helpful until the kitty is on a micro dose, ( .25 and under , I think that is where the micro dosing number begins ) And that said, I found it more helpful with Bubba at +8.

The idea is that the meal at that time ( PM+9 )gets the pancreas working and helps to bring down the AMPS.

Maybe for now, at this dose, he might be better to have his last meal no later than +6 - 7 where it looks like his nadir is.
